Hello

My name is Mari-Louise, and I’m originally from South Africa. I have a background in classical music and visual arts, which has shaped my approach to teaching. In South Africa, I worked as an art teacher with students from various backgrounds, which helped me discover my true passion for teaching. In 2016, I moved to Taiwan to continue my career in teaching English. 

When I’m not teaching, I am play the piano and make art. I have a deep love for creative activities all kinds, and I am passionate about sharing this with my students. Watching them learn and grow is one of the of my greatest joys, and I strive to make my classes engaging and enjoyable. I believe that learning happens best when it’s fun!
